Sponsor a Summer Staff

At Heavenly Hills we have a strong heart for everyone who sets foot on camp property. We do, however, run into one major obstacle: we have such limited time of ministry and discipleship with our campers. Sometimes we have a week and sometimes we only have three days. Though we try and squeeze every last drop of time to teach, serve, and disciple, often times we find ourselves wishing we had so much more time to go deeper and further in ministry.

This is why our Staff have a huge love for our Summer Staff program. During the busy Summer months of June and July we hire up to eight Summer Staff (4 gals, 4 guys) for help in the daily operations of camp, which includes working in the kitchen, on the grounds, or in housekeeping. Of course we're thankful for all the help (boy, do we need it!) but we are especially thankful for the eight weeks of intentional care, discipleship, and teaching over these prayer-fully selected young people.

These Summer Staff live, work, and rest side-by-side with our Camp Staff, with near constant investment in their spiritual, mental, emotional, and even physical lives. Five evenings out of the week they gather at the Camp Residence for an hour's worth of devotional discussion and teaching for more intentional periods of development. Many of these youth have powerful testimonies of growth, life-saving perspective changes, and deeper connections with the Lord and others. We see the most beautiful fruit and blessing pour out from this portion of our camp ministry and we would like to provide a chance for you to cultivate this fruit as well. We are starting our Sponsor a Summer Staff program giving a chance for all of you to directly invest in the Summer Staff ministry. With your help we can continue to minister to these individuals throughout the years and see God's work continued in their lives even beyond their time at Heavenly Hills.

With any amount of donation, you will receive three Summer Staff Updates throughout the Summer season. These updates will provide you with trivia, prayer requests, and testimonies from each of our Summer Staff so that you can witness their own development and continue to invest behind the scenes through your prayers.
