What is Discipleship 2:52?

In Luke 2:52 we find Jesus’ almost entire young life summed up in one verse. We generally pass over it however a key to growth and development as a young person is explicitly found in this passage.

The purpose of Discipleship 2:52 is to raise up young men and women after God's own heart by living in an intimate discipleship community and growing in the areas of wisdom, stature (or skill), and favor with God and man.

This school is not a ministry school or an accredited collegiate-level school. This is a school for students between 18-26 years old who want to grow in their spiritual, emotional, and mental maturity in order to see good fruit come of their present and future lives.

What will I be doing?

The majority of your time as a student at Discipleship 2:52 will be spent on-site at Heavenly Hills Christian Camp and Retreat Center. You will be studying the Bible, engaging with guest teachers, and discussing class subjects. Each week of your semester will focus on a different subject taught by either our Heavenly Hills Staff or by qualified guest teachers. Students will be learning from a spectrum of topics such as how the book of Proverbs speaks to life’s daily rhythms (Wisdom), how to become a nurturing spouse and parent (Favor), and how practice basic car mechanics (Stature).

What will I be paying?

The total tuition cost for Discipleship 2:52 is TBD split into four payments throughout the semester. This cost covers utility expenses, school supplies, dinners (breakfast, lunches, and snacks are on the students' dime), and any outings that may take place during the semester.

If needed, and upon acceptance into the program, our staff can work alongside students to assist in potential fundraising for the course.

*Students will be working four unpaid hours, four days a week at camp, in various responsibilities, to offset the student's expenses incurred over the semester.

Where will I be staying?

Students will live on campus at Heavenly Hills Christian Camp and Retreat Center in gender-specific Cabins. Students will also have access to gender-specific bathrooms. Common areas fitted with kitchen necessities, comfortable seating, and TV will be available during the student's downtime.
