It is time to start recruiting staff for summer camp!! Summer will be here before we know it.

Each church needs to plan to send 1 adult for 1-5 campers, 2 adults for 6-10, etc. It is very important that we have enough adults to staff camp.

Let me remind you that there are new California regulations regarding counselors. We must have fingerprinting and background checks done on all staff (even if they have been here before and even if they have been fingerprinted for another organization). Additionally, counselors must be certified in First Aid and CPR. These are important reasons to make plans now and talk to members of your congregation who might be willing to spend a week (or a half week for Beginners) serving in this ministry.(continued below)

Another new regulation requires us to have a licensed nurse or physician as part of the staff. We can no longer use someone who has First Aid certification. If there is a nurse or physician in your congregation, or if you know someone even at another church, who might consider coming for a week, please let us know.
